Doug was traveling, so of course –– of course –– when I found myself alone I went to see some flowers.
Krohn Conservatory is located in Eden Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Art Deco style conservatory opened in 1933. It’s relatively small, but it was jam-packed with plants and flowers. It includes houses of Ferns, Palms, Desert Garden, Bonsai, and Orchids. It also has a seasonal room, which was of course re-opening the day after my visit.
It didn’t take long to go through the conservatory itself, so afterwards I walked around the park, trying to get my steps in and hoping to see some new birds (since Doug was in New Orleans doing the same thing). Alas I saw few birds (unlike Doug), but it was a lovely fall day, so I can’t complain.
