I figured we would skip the Montreal Botanical Garden on this trip because it was December in Canada, but Doug said we should go see the greenhouses, and who am I to argue? It does mean, however, that someday we’ll need to go back when the outside gardens are open.
The Montreal Botanical Garden was founded in 1931 and has an extensive collection –– so much so that it is considered one of the most important in the world! It has 190 acres of themed gardens and greenhouses.
There were many beautiful and interesting flowers in bloom in the greenhouses. I particularly enjoyed the orchids and the Japanese Garden. Without further ado, it’s time for flower pictures!
Spectacular!!!
Thanks!
